Suite In Venice Ai Carmini

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer apartment type accommodation with kitchen that suits a family or a group of people, that makes the rates really affordable in Venice.

They only have a few apartment to rent, so their staff are not available there all the time. But you could phone them for questions. They had wireless internet that we couldn't figure how to use it.

The location was the best part of my stay in the Ai Carmini Residence.

Was shown to an apartment that did not match the advertising. The staff desk was available during posted hours. The apartment was not clean, the walls had peeling paint, the bedding was unclean, the phone nor shower worked. After finally getting someone to show up at the desk, we were given another apartment, which was much improved. However, even this apartment had unclean dishes, the satelitte TV did not work, the dishes were not clean and the floors had not been properly cleaned.

The staff was friendly and the location was great!

The staff was not on at all hours so we had to locate a phone to call them when we arrived. This was inconvienient but not a deal breaker at all.

About 15-25 minutes to main sightseeings by slow walk through small beutiful venetian streets, a lot cafes and restaraunts just on the corner.

1. No Wi-fi internet on 4th floor in Vivarini appartments as in appartments description. 2. Very old and broken furniture in the appartments, photos of Vivarini appartments on appartments site made about 10 yeas ago I guess. 3. Shower and hair-dryer is broken. 4. There is no kettle in the kitchen.

the address is the most attract thing for me. The room is clean and comfort, larger than I expected. Staff are helpful and nice, even though there were some mistakes made by some staff (or maybe due to the computer system)

I changed the reservation from 4 days to 3 days on Booked.net, but the hotel didn't update my reservation in the system. When I told them about the change I made, they asked me to pay more for the 3rd day and they mentioned that the 3rd day price is not same as the first two days. I present the booking confirmation which contains the detail price info to them, and they accpeted it at last and charged the same price as I booked.

Beautiful view from all windows. Nice bathroom, and air conditioning was great to have.

There were only a couple of forks and knifes, not enough for a family. The reception has limited hours, from 9.00am-2.00pm. It is not always possible to arrive in that window of time. After emailing that we would arrive around 5.00pm, an exception was made for us.

The room was great for our needs, great location in Venice. We had a pleasant stay, and liked the hotel very much.

We announced our late arrival, and due to rain and a closed airport we arrived later than expected. When we arrived no one answered at the door or the telephone, and two families with five children stood out in the pouring rain until a guest heard the doorbell and opened the door for us. Eventually one from the staff came, and it turned out well - luckily :-)

I have to admit 2 months traveling Europe and Ai Carmini was one of the hotels I thought would be the worst. Well what a surprise !!! We stayed here only one night 4 adults and a ten year old before departing on a cruise. A modern kitchen and bathroom lovely quite area and great view from our bedroom window of the canal Plenty of restaurants close by and a supermarket. Download and print out a map it's easy to find if you know the way.. Train station / cruise mono rail was 5 bridges away a 20 minute walk with luggage and St Marcs Square also a 20 minute walk. The price per night for this place is pretty good for Venice the Internet is wireless and free and the rooms are more than comftorble.

Mosquitos (it's Venice) keep the windows shut. No jug we boiled our water in a pot, no tea towel or cloth for wiping kitchen benches

Spacious Apartment for pre and post cruise accomodation.Apartment clean and tidy and plenty of room for 2 adults and two teenage children, with facilities to self cater if necessary.Nice roof terrace to sit and watch the world go by.Very pleasant area and close to shops,restaurants and central for accessing the airport - via Piazza Roma, and cruise terminal. Must try 'Al Volo' pizza in Santa Margerita Square , just around the corner.

Very spacious apartments - especially when you think about Venice

The organisation and the staff is beyond poor. We had to wait for an hour early in the morning for the lady to arrive, no promises are kept, communication is poor. We were disappointed. I will think twice before coming back - yes we did like the apartment, but the service ruined it all!

Secured, within walkable distance of Boat station. Also chowk/ square is near by for misc. shopping.

It was a very large space we had for three people. It was on the third floor, which did not bother us at all. It was a reel appartment and a very decent size kitchen. You can actually walk without hitting any bridge to a quiet vaporetto stop (San basilio) that is very close to the train station. This is very convenient with suitcases. It could be quite a pain to climb all the bridges to reach your hotel or to be trapped in a very popular vaporetto route. Reception is opened only from 9:00 to 14:00, so arrive between those time. Hot water is not always consistent, but in Venice, it is lucky to have some! There is a supermarket, butcher, fish market, all very close to the appartment. The location in dursodoro is perfect as you get out a bit of the tourist area. It is quiet at night as the canal in front of your window is not very busy. I highly recommend for larger group too. There was room to comfortably sleep 6-7 people.

This is a rather good flat, but 2 beds are just in first room near the entrance (we had the apartments for 4 persons). Good location, we had th apartments on the 4 or 5 floor with nice balcony,but with high ladder to our flooor too.

The location is grate, easy to get here from the train or bus station.

The bad room was not well cleaned, the shower was actual dirty. Except this problem, everything was correct! really difficult to find the main door, because only a 10x10cm signal is out on the wall.

Over all inside structure was ok. Following two thing are of our concern 1) aircon out of order for first day need to open the window and even too hot to sleep. A lot of mosquitoes biting. After complaining thru Booked.net next day gave another apartment which was good. 2) for check out staff was not available and was informed by written message that only one lady come during day time to settle money so we just need to leave the keys at reception and cost will be deducted to my card. This is strange no bill is gi ven to me yet and also I requested to mail me the bill wih details of charges but no reply to me yet. It makes me nervous that what will be charged to me.

Need to get the bill which mention actual charges as per agreement at start up.
